Based on customer feedback our technical team developed a new feature on the site. We now have extra large images of all of our wines. When hovering over a wine bottle you will see the image enlarged. Looking at the upper left corner you will see a hyperlink that says “click here for x-large image”. You will then see a near life size high resolution image of the bottle of wine. Customers asked for this because they wanted to confirm information on the label such as vintage. We do not substitute vintages here at Love Washington Wine what you see is what you get! Please check out our site in the next couple of days to see what Brian has selected for the club shipments on April 15th.
I am very pleased to announce the addition of three new wineries Andrew Will, Dunham Cellars and Woodward Canyon. These are truly some of our state’s best wineries and we are proud to offer them. You can read more on these wineries in our news section at http://www.lovewashingtonwine.com/news.aspx . Brian is working on some new selections that I am sure you will enjoy.

Martin-Scott Winery PLEASE!
I know from the past that Martin-Scott has been on Love Washington Wine. I hope that this will happen again soon. Martin-Scott Winery has some of the most magnificent wines. I especially love the Riesling. I noticed wineman34 asked about it too. He is right, it has been on the site before and I know for myself that I hope it comes back sooner than later. I also read that Brian has been out and about working on the development of the wine list. I have known Brian for years and I have so much faith in him that he will bring us some very exciting new wines. Way to go Brian! I look forward to seeing and trying what new wines you will help bring to Love Washington Wine. I completely agree with Brian and that is that we are all wine experts in our own way.

Greeting from our Wine Buyer
Greetings Wine Lovers! I have been on the road and busy with the development of our wine list. I want to introduce myself. I am a food and wine enthusiast with over twenty four years of experience in the food and beverage business. I have worked in restaurants, hotels, retail, catering, wineries and other licensed alcohol retail establishments. I enjoy creating food and paring food with wine. I have been referred to as "chef" although I do not have classical training in the culinary arts or wine. My personal wine favorites tend to be blends such as Bordeaux style blends, Italian blends like Super Tuscan's or artful blends from master wine makers like Brian Carter or Ray Sandidge. I also enjoy the classics like Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Barbera, Nebbiolo and Sangiovese. My palette craves big bold reds like Boudreaux Cellars, Horan Estates, Ryan Patrick Vineyards to name a few. I believe that wine is very personal and we are all wine experts! Tell me what you are looking for in a wine and I will see what I can find!!!

More White Wines Please....
I had a glass of Ryan Patrick last night and it was very tasty! The night before I tried the Pinot Gris from Chateau Faire Le Pont. It was also wonderful! I really enjoy white wines and would be excited to see more on Love Washington Wine. I know in the past the site had a Riesling on it but does not now. I hope a Riesling or 2 will come back on the site. It is a great treat to have a glass of wine after a long day. I am also looking forward to trying some of the reds. On a side note I must say that it is also fun to get a $25.00 gift card for signing up for a Wine Club. Thanks Love Washington Wine.

Ryan Patrick Happenings
I met with Terry Flanagan today to talk some wine businesses. Terry is the owner of Ryan Patrick Vineyards one of our favorite wineries. In our discussion I learned about some exciting news. He is looking at moving his Leavenworth tasting room to another location in Leavenworth. I won’t steal his thunder he will announce the specifics when he is ready but he has an even nicer location in mind, I am looking forward to visiting it when it is ready.
He also talked about the 2007 vintage. It has been in the barrel long enough for Terry to get a sense of where it is going. Early indication is it is on par or perhaps slightly better than 2005 which was a great year across the state and at Ryan Patrick Vineyards. He is expanding his vineyard this year and next which is exciting.
We finished the day with a quick discussion of auto racing a mutual interest of ours and he hit the road. It is always great seeing Terry he always has something going and is fun to talk to. I will see if we can get Brian around the 2007 the next time they taste.

New Bloggers
I asked our Operations Manager and CTO to start posting what they are planning, thinking and doing for LWW. In addition to our staff here at LWW I asked a couple of people who tried our site and know us to start blogging about their experiences, what they liked and did not like. This blog is important to me to get feedback and keep the good stuff coming.
We will post often and want to hear from you. Welcome "WineSpritzer" I look forward to your postings and hearing from you regarding how we are doing.
We do not edit our bloggers’ material they have free reign to post whatever is on their mind as long as it is professional and good spirited. Brian the wine buyer will get online here shortly he has been very busy with some new selections. He takes his time to get it right and I don't want to rush him!

I AM SO EXCITED!!!!
I am so excited! Love Washington Wine is AWESOME! I have ordered wine for myself, my friends, and also joined a wine club. It has been a lot of fun trying new wine! I have truly enjoyed every kind that I have picked out. My friends have been so excited to receive wine in the mail and have also enjoyed what I have picked for them. I am new at trying many of these wines but you can not go wrong on Love Washington Wine. It has been a fun experience and I am so excited for the wine club to start. I plan on using this site frequently for myself, my friends, and family. What a wonderful gift and a nice surprise to give remarkable wine to people and it is sent directly to them. I have also done the will-call process and it has gone very smoothly. Way to go Love Washington Wine. I love it!!!!!
