Greetings Wine Lovers,
As of late there has been a tremendous amount of activity here at Love Washington Wine and it is time to catch you up on what’s happening! First, we have added several new wines/wineries to our web store. Check out our new offerings from the renowned Washington State Vintners, Andrew Will, Dunham Cellars and Woodward Canyon! I am very excited about Dunham Cellars 2006 Shirley Mays Chardonnay…a great Washington Chardonnay with fruit sourced from the acclaimed Dunham Cellars Lewis Estate Vineyard. Eric Dunham has not only created a fabulous Chardonnay but he has very graciously decided to donate a portion of his profit to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, a foundation dedicated to breast cancer awareness, education and research. Take a look at the foundation and enjoy the Shirley Mays story. Andrew Will wines have been receiving tremendous reviews…not a surprise given the exceptional year to year consistency that Andrew Will has been celebrated for. I would love to hear some feedback from any one that has had the opportunity to experience the Sorella and Champoux from Andrew Will.
We have received a bit of the Boudreaux Cellars 2004 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. This incredible Washington Cabernet Sauvignon is produced from 100% Champoux Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon. Just read Rob Newsom’s tasting notes at WWW.lovewashingtonwine.com and you will want to experience this wine. This is one of the strongest Cab’s I have tasted! Wonderfully drinkable now but will get better and better if laid down for 7-10 years. I would recommend becoming a member of the Love Washington Wine Love Premium Wine Club, not only will you receive a bottle of Boudreaux Cellars 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon to taste in your first shipment, you will be able to pick up a couple of bottles for your cellar at an incredible (our company president lost his mind) 20% discount. Did I just mention wine clubs? Go to our web store to see what you will miss if you don’t sign up for wine club soon!!! Seriously the Boudreaux Cellars 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon is in extremely short supply and likely won’t be available after the spring.
If you have not been to our web store you are missing out on the opportunity to view the incredible art work on Woodward Canyon’s often collected 2005 Artist Series Cabernet Sauvignon. You will be blown away by the “click here for x-large image” feature on our site.
Another bit of incredible news…we will be offering Abeja Cabernet Sauvignon and Abeja Chardonnay very soon (expected arrival 04/16/2008). For those of you that really know Washington wine and value exceptional Cab’s the addition of Abeja definitely excites you. If you are just learning about Washington wine and or are looking for an incredible highly sought after Cabernet Sauvignon you too just got excited about Abeja. Look for it late next week!
Cheers see you soon, Brian
